About this blog:

This site was not developed with the intention of drawing a large number of visitors using trivial methods and shallowness. There is rejoicing among the angels when even one sinner repents and believes in Jesus Christ. (Luke 15:10) If, for as long as this site exists, just one sinner is led to repentance and belief in Christ with the aid of the material presented here, the purpose of this site has been served.

LaneCh Youtube Classics Month: "Does Your Church Teach Only Parts of the Truth?"

      LaneCh Youtube Channel Classics Month

      Monday, March 10, 2014

My Youtube channel is about to hit a milestone:  600 uploads and 20 million views!  I started to think back at all the videos that have been posted there since February 2007, and I realized that there are many people who arrived late and probably haven't seen many of the earlier videos.  Because of that, I think it will be good to post one video a week for four weeks of some of the most well received videos on the channel.  Thanks for the years of support and encouragement!

      What Are Your Favorite Websites?

      Friday, January 17, 2014

I'm trying to expand my reading base.  What are some of your favorite sites to visit?  They don't have to be theologically based necessarily.  Leave your top three in the comments below.

      Here are mine:

      1.  Twitter News Feed (You might think, "huh?", but seriously, this has become my go to for news.  Just follow the right people, and you will stay updated on current things happening around the world from Christianity to world affairs.  It's usually faster at getting you the information than most news websites.)

      2.  Drudge Report (Most think this is a conservative website, but it is just a page of links.  A lot of the time, they link to middle-left to far-left articles to keep you informed.  It's a good mix of serious news and the off-the-wall stories you rarely hear about elsewhere.  Overall, if you keep up with this page, you will keep up with current events regardless of your political ideology.)

      3.  Linus Tech Tips (Great video info on computer tech.  Linus is incredibly knowledgeable.  His other page, "Techquickie," gets honorable mention for a place to learn about technical computer issues in general in a very condensed way.)

      What are yours?
