About this blog:

This site was not developed with the intention of drawing a large number of visitors using trivial methods and shallowness. There is rejoicing among the angels when even one sinner repents and believes in Jesus Christ. (Luke 15:10) If, for as long as this site exists, just one sinner is led to repentance and belief in Christ with the aid of the material presented here, the purpose of this site has been served.

Chuck Smith Encourages Woman to Have an Abortion

      Friday, February 11, 2011

For those who haven't heard, recently on Chuck Smith's "Pastor's Perspective" radio show, he gave something other than a correct pastor's perspective when a young lady called in struggling with the pressure from doctors to have an abortion. You can read about the event and listen to the clips here: (LINK).

Abortion is nothing more than the idolatry of convenience through the means of murder. It is one of the greatest evils of our time. Even though I don't comment on the issue as much as some, I can't understand how someone, much less a pastor, can condone such an action and then play politics when he's called out by others. Apparently pro-autonomous-choice theology can affect other areas of our thinking as well.

If you're struggling with the idea of abortion, please take the time to watch the following video. Try to think unselfishly. It may just save a life (literally).

The following two media items from the great Francis Schaeffer are very helpful resources as well.

What makes this so sad is not only his advice but his lying the next day...

I am glad I did not seek counsel from this church I was formerly apart of when my wife got pregnant with conjoined twins (same situation the docs told us)

You can learn more about that here: http://goodtimesdelgadostyle.blogspot.com/search/label/conjoined%20twins%20Melody%20and%20Madison

I hope we can contact Nikki somehow and encourage hee.

      soli Deo gloria!
