thank you Lane & White Horse Inn for your sharing. I am learning much. I look forward to reading Michelle Horton's new book (I think it's new or coming out soon)
Yes we are only saved through the finished work of Christ & faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word of God...but I have a concern with some of the messages I am hearing in regards to judging our brethren (the Church) yes Scripture tells us we must judge our brethren (is it not stated in the context of the local Church community that God has you in relationship with? And I do not want to sin by "judging" these sharings either.
Anyways it's just a note I was wondering about...It is our Sovereign Lord Jesus who predestines His sheep's salvation by the finished work of the cross...only...nothing we can do only what He has done.
Anyways I pray these thoughts are taken as I am sharing them and that is simply in questioning/wondering and again thank you for all that is posted like I said earlier I learn much and am thankful.
