About this blog:

This site was not developed with the intention of drawing a large number of visitors using trivial methods and shallowness. There is rejoicing among the angels when even one sinner repents and believes in Jesus Christ. (Luke 15:10) If, for as long as this site exists, just one sinner is led to repentance and belief in Christ with the aid of the material presented here, the purpose of this site has been served.

Help Needed with Automatic Youtube Feed

      Tuesday, October 12, 2010

I know there has to be someone out there who knows how to do this.  My searches on Google have returned void.   Does anyone know how to make Blogger automatically update by posting a new post everytime I upload a video to Youtube?

      Thanks,
      Lane

      Hi Lane,

Have you tried vodpod? I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and it's awesome. You can set it to autopost to blogs and social networks each time you add a new video to vodpod. Just upload your video to youtube and add it to vodpod. Then again, I guess that means you're still doing two things lol...

You can get an RSS feed of your youtube channel uploads. In your case, the RSS feed is this:

      http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/lanech/uploads

Blogger has a widget that will allow you post a feed in a side bar (like the "Recent Comments" side bar.

I don't know of a way to update the main posts using the RSS feed, but there might be a way.

From your youtube account you can share your upload activity with these sites:

      Facebook
      Twitter
      Reader
      Buzz
      Orkut
      Myspace
