Here we learn that Rick Warren doesn't believe that sermons will produce spiritual maturity, Bill Hybels of Willow Creek is one of the greatest pastors in history, Ecclesiastes was actually talking about strategies for the church growth movement in certain sections, and prayer and preaching doesn't grow a church. Sheesh.

1 Peter 1:22-25
"Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto sincere love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: But the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you."
Could he possibly have contrasted himself anymore with the Bible? No...as usual. This is so sad.
And the peace plan??? Ahhh I WANT TO SCREAM. I'm so thankful for WOTMR doing this...people need to hear it. Thanks for posting this.
It is an understatement of epic proportions to say that Rick Warren is either a liar or a very deceived man...or both. For Christmas, my mum got me a copy of his book "Rick Warren's Bible Study Methods". I was shocked to see the content of the book - it was actually Biblical compared to his usual nonsense.
Quite frankly, Warren needs prayer, because he is really hitting the bottom of the barrel, and scraping a hole right through it.
Rick Warren doesn't believe that sermons will produce spiritual maturity... perhaps buying one of his books does!
