About this blog:

This site was not developed with the intention of drawing a large number of visitors using trivial methods and shallowness. There is rejoicing among the angels when even one sinner repents and believes in Jesus Christ. (Luke 15:10) If, for as long as this site exists, just one sinner is led to repentance and belief in Christ with the aid of the material presented here, the purpose of this site has been served.

Does John 3:16 Refute God's Unconditional Election?

      Sunday, March 16, 2008

Many people that disagree with the fact that God has unconditionally elected people unto salvation often appeal to John 3:16 as their "proof text" that this doctrine must be wrong. Is this true, though? Watch these three videos to find out...

Thank you for posting this video on John 3:16. I read this verse this morning and was puzzling over how it could mean only the elect. This was very timely for me to come across this today. I had never been taught that you interpret the broader passages of scripture by the narrower ones. That makes so much sense to me. I wish I had heard that a long time ago. Also the argument about the many different possible meanings of "world" and how you can't say it means one thing all the time. This is very helpful.
