Paul Washer provides commentary on the legalistic mentality of doing and not being that is permeating modern evangelicalism these days thanks largely if not entirely to a certain movement.

This was an excellent lesson from Paul Washer. The "Be Attitudes" are how a person comes into a relationship with God and are how a person remains or abides in a relationship with God. I used to give out many teaching lesson tapes and good christian books to people who came across my life. I do not do this anymore. I have found an excellent book about the "Be Attitudes" by John MacArthur that is the only book I now give out. The title is "The Only Way To Happiness: The Be Attitudes". I will sometimes give the audio series that is from this book. I believe that God draws us to Himself and that God keeps us so if I can just get the right stuff into someone's hands I will trust God to do the work of salvation in that person's life or the work of santifacation.
