About this blog:

This site was not developed with the intention of drawing a large number of visitors using trivial methods and shallowness. There is rejoicing among the angels when even one sinner repents and believes in Jesus Christ. (Luke 15:10) If, for as long as this site exists, just one sinner is led to repentance and belief in Christ with the aid of the material presented here, the purpose of this site has been served.

      Thought of the Week 10.15.07

      Monday, October 15, 2007

This isn't really meant to be a thought of the week as much as it is meant to stir your thoughts up. Take in the truth of this passage.

If Jesus Christ who is come in the flesh is not risen from the dead, your, mine, or anyone's faith/believing in Him, God, and the Bible is kenos(
      1) empty, vain, devoid of truth
1a) of places, vessels, etc. which contain nothing
      1b) of men
      1b1) empty handed
      1b2) without a gift
1c) metaphorically destitute of spiritual wealth, of one who boasts of his faith as a transcendent possession, yet is without the fruits of faith
1d) metaphorically of endeavours, labours, acts, which result in nothing, vain, fruitless, without effect
      1d1) vain of no purpose)

      (1 Corinthians 15:14)

It's what the entire Gospel stands or falls upon.
