About this blog:

This site was not developed with the intention of drawing a large number of visitors using trivial methods and shallowness. There is rejoicing among the angels when even one sinner repents and believes in Jesus Christ. (Luke 15:10) If, for as long as this site exists, just one sinner is led to repentance and belief in Christ with the aid of the material presented here, the purpose of this site has been served.

Is There a Such Person as a "New Testament-Only Christian"?

      Monday, September 24, 2007

"Do not think that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill."

      - Jesus Christ
      (Matthew 5:17)

Here our Lord speaks of fulfilling the law and the prophets. Well, since they're fulfilled, where do you find this law and these prophets? You find them in the Old Testament.

There are some that say that "I'm a New Testament Only Christian" implying that they adhere only to what is written in the New Testament, but repeatedly the New Testament alludes back to the Old to bring clarity. They are not two seperate books, but make up one whole.

In this clip from God's Law and Society by Eric Holmberg and The Apologetics Group, this issue is discussed.

You can get this full length DVD at The Apologetics Group's Official Website or their eBay store .
