About this blog:

This site was not developed with the intention of drawing a large number of visitors using trivial methods and shallowness. There is rejoicing among the angels when even one sinner repents and believes in Jesus Christ. (Luke 15:10) If, for as long as this site exists, just one sinner is led to repentance and belief in Christ with the aid of the material presented here, the purpose of this site has been served.

Beware of the Leaven of the SADDUCEES, Too!

      Wednesday, September 19, 2007

Then Jesus said unto them, "Take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees AND of the Sadducees."
      (Matt 16:6)

For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit:
      (Acts 23:8)

There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or sorcery, or interprets omens, or is a witch, Or casts spells, or is a medium, or a wizard, or CONSULTS THE DEAD. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD your God does drive them out from before you.
      (Deu 18:10-12)

The Spirit world is real. Many remember the Lord's plea to stay clear of the Pharisees, but many seem to forget Him giving equal warning about the Sadducees. The Sadducees deny the existence of angels, spirits, and the resurrection. How many Sadducees do we have even in churches these days?
