About this blog:

This site was not developed with the intention of drawing a large number of visitors using trivial methods and shallowness. There is rejoicing among the angels when even one sinner repents and believes in Jesus Christ. (Luke 15:10) If, for as long as this site exists, just one sinner is led to repentance and belief in Christ with the aid of the material presented here, the purpose of this site has been served.

      The Opposite of Deny.

      Saturday, February 24, 2007

"What is the opposite of deny? The opposite of deny is to accept. With this in mind, Jesus said, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." (Matt 16:24) and "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal." (John 12:25) With so much said from the people of this world about loving our lives, accepting ourselves, and just beng ourselves, thank God that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Heb 13:8) He will never change. He never has and never will deceive, because he came from the Father in heaven, and the Father in heaven is love. (1 John 4:7) Again, if you are like, "Well, I don't believe that. I believe that God wants us to love our lives, for us to learn to accept ourselves, and for us to just be ourselves.", well, you don't believe Jesus; inevitably you don't believe the truth. And if you don't believe the truth, what does that make you?

      ...An unbeliever."
